Jake Bhardwaj

Comedian, writer, actor, producer, and self-appointed professional comedy quizmaster Jake Bhardwaj will be taking centre stage this October.

"What an honour to be hosting this year's British Podcast Awards and getting to celebrate the brilliantly creative people who make this industry so bloody brilliant. In a room full of people who talk for a living, I’m anticipating a very fun but very noisy evening."

Jake co-hosts the critically acclaimed podcast Joe Marler Will See You Now, as well as the Pub Quiz Pod with Liam Shaw (@thesquidvids). Jake's late night, variety show Not Another Quiz Night has become a cult smash hit at the Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe with London runs at the Clapham Grand and Soho Theatre, and he is now starring as the resident quizmaster in Joe Lycett’s new late-night C4 show, The Lycett Arms. Jake has acted in multiple short films and features in the recent BBC1 sitcom Ann Droid.

Listeners' Choice, Powered by Spotify

This year, we are thrilled that the publicly voted Listeners' Choice Award was officially powered by Spotify.

This exciting partnership gives podcast fans an even bigger platform to champion their favourite shows. It was your chance to directly support the creators you love and help them take home one of the night’s most prestigious, fan-driven honours.
